Use
- Season mortar before first use: grind raw rice inside bowl until rice turns grey; empty and repeat until rice no longer turns grey; rinse with water and scrub with brush.
- Always place molcajete on top of cloth to avoid scratching surface of table or benchtop.
- Avoid drastic changes in temperature.
Care
- Handwash with running water, dishwashing detergent and brush. Dry thoroughly.
